Monica McClurg
Monica McClurg is a professional competitive dancer, coach, choreographer, and judge, specializing in all levels and styles of ballroom, rhythm, and country partner dancing. She began her dance career at just 16 years old, teaching at an Arthur Murray Dance Studios in Greenwood, Indiana.
Driven to pursue dance at a higher level, Monica relocated to California, where she found her ideal dance partner, appeared in the film Dance with Me, and became a sponsored professional ballroom competitor. She is an American Smooth Rising Star Champion and Rhythm Open Champion.
In September 2020, Monica opened MJ Ballroom Dance Venue in Greenwood, Indiana—a vibrant space dedicated to dance, community, and celebration. She continues to compete in Pro/Am events, host dance events throughout the Indianapolis area, and works with organizations such as Meals on Wheels, Paramount Theatre’s Dancing Like the Stars, and Reason to Dance, benefiting Riley Children's Health. Monica also coaches with Special Olympics in Hendricks County and works with students and special show groups.
In 2023, she was voted Johnson County Icon for making a meaningful impact in her community. Most recently, she has been coaching and judging collegiate Ballroom 101 programs.
Monica is passionate about helping dancers of all levels grow—whether for competition, special events, or simply the joy of dancing. In addition to her work on the dance floor, she is also a professional DJ for corporate, family, and special events. Making music matter!
Oscar Casas
Oscar brings a distinct style to both his dancing and teaching. Deeply rooted in the milonguero tradition, he is highly respected among the old guard of the milongas in Buenos Aires.
Known for his engaging and approachable teaching style, Oscar combines energy and humor while focusing on core concepts. He specializes in improvisation, guiding students to interpret the music and honor the unique character of each orchestra. With a strong emphasis on dynamics and cadence, everything Oscar teaches is designed to be used confidently in real, often crowded, milonga settings.
Michael Fatyanov
Michael Fatyanov is a professional dance coach, choreographer, and marriage ministry leader who specializes in helping beginners become confident, capable dancers. He is known for guiding students from feeling nervous and inexperienced to dancing comfortably at social events, showcases, and even competitive stages—including national championship-level success.
Michael’s coaching blends strong technical training with an encouraging, personalized approach. He has a unique ability to break dancing down into clear, achievable steps, helping students overcome common fears like feeling awkward, uncoordinated, or unsure where to begin.
He is also the founder of Sealed in Dance, a ministry dedicated to helping married couples build deeper trust, connection, and intimacy through partner dancing. Grace Brown
Grace began ballroom dancing at the age of twelve alongside her older brother. Although they were both initially reluctant, it didn’t take long for them to fall in love with the art form, and within a few years they couldn’t imagine life without it. After her first competition, Grace knew she wanted to pursue ballroom dancing at the highest level. By the age of eighteen, she had earned five national and two international Pro/Am titles. As an adult, she partnered with Aleksander Rybakov and continued her career in International Ballroom, competing across the United States.
Most recently, Grace participated as a professional in her first local ballroom dance fundraiser, where her celebrity partner earned the title of Grand Champion. Grace is a dedicated instructor, offering private lessons in social dancing, competitive training, wedding first dances, and children’s programs.
Natasha
With 17 years of teaching experience, Natasha specializes in ballroom and Latin dance instruction for individuals, couples, group classes, wedding couples, and special events. For the past 12 years, she has taught and choreographed for Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County Dancing with Our Stars, where her students have earned notable recognition, including an Audience Choice Award for a group performance she choreographed and a Best Male Dancer award. She has also trained under world champion dancers, bringing a high level of expertise to her instruction.
Dance is one of Natasha’s greatest passions and a vital form of self-expression. She is dedicated to helping students build confidence, grow their skills, and experience the joy of movement in a supportive and encouraging environment.
